The manager appeared to be having a tough day and was not attentive to customers waiting in the lobby, even though she was taking orders. I waited 20 minutes before my order was taken, and when I asked her a question about the food, she responded rudely. I also saw two other customers, who had been waiting about 20 minutes, leave out of frustration. By the time my sandwich was finally being prepared, I had to get back to work. Since it wasn’t ready yet, I politely informed them that I no longer wanted it because my break was over. I would recommend others save their time and money by avoiding this location.
The customer service was disappointing. The staff appeared more interested in chatting among themselves than in attending to orders. I specifically requested a sandwich without lettuce, as it looked old and brown, but the staff didn't seem to care about ensuring the vegetables were fresh. The chicken steak was overcooked and dry, and the bread was stale. It felt like the cooks were simply rushing to assemble hot sandwiches without any attention to quality. I spent $32 and definitely won’t be coming back.
I called ahead to place my order at Jersey Mike's Subs and had the pleasure of speaking with Jamie, who was absolutely fantastic. The sandwiches from the menu were perfect! While I can't comment on the negative reviews, as a regular customer of this location and a JM member since 2012, my loyalty speaks for itself. I visited yesterday, September 8, 2022, for my first lunch experience at the restaurant. I had seen some reviews and was hopeful my visit would be positive. I was particularly excited to try it because they offer gluten-free subs, and I have celiac disease. The location was clean and bright, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My sub was delicious and fresh. I will definitely be returning!
