matt the fact the jerusalem tavern is both fabulous historical and complete production. Although the spatial features originated from the early 18th century, the current shopfront was added only in 1810 and the place was opened as pub only in the 1990s. but who cares how old it is? it is still an londoner institution, with St.Peters brewery banning from suffolk the main attraction, and ludfully cheap whiskys on the back. after some ipa and red ale we changed to ardbeg 10 and alsoentoshan 12 (both about £3,50 per dram). they can also buy mini-legs and gift packs from St.Peters bier to take home I bet they make a kill on the holy evening when all their punters realize that they...read more
I'm confident to say that jerusalem tavern is my favorite pub in london. it is the most precious, coolest, most quirkies and most authentic pub I've ever had. the staff is also nice and very helpful. the place has so much history, they can only see it in every chair, every table and in every corner of the pub there is a small sitting area at the top of the stairs, which is up to three people square, that is my favourite place. although I love the place for what it is, I find it frustrating how small it is. they have to be lucky to find a place, so if I want to go there, I try my best to get there before the close offices close, so I can find at least one place.
The Jerusalem Tavern is a fantastic and historical pub in London. Although its origins date back to the 18th century, it was officially opened as a pub in the 1990s. The main attraction here is the St. Peter's brewery beer from Suffolk, along with a variety of cheap whiskys. The atmosphere is great with cozy corners and friendly bar staff. They offer hot meals and affordable alcohol options. It's a true gem in London. Please note that The Jerusalem Tavern is open on weekdays at 11:00 AM and closed on weekends.
When you get through the heavy house door, it feels more like you have entered an old house someone's room than in a pub. there is a large selection of real ales, brewed by st peters brewery, and an appealing menu. and it is a time out critics choice. This pub is one of my favorites. It mainly serves St. Peters Brewery beers, but I've heard they no longer own it so there are other beers available as well. It is one of the oldest pubs in London and the historic building is well-maintained. There's really nowhere else quite like it.
