I visited this restaurant for the first time and was not impressed. The apple cider battered walleye was okay in taste, but resembled frozen fish sticks. The batter inside was a bit doughy. The ranch salad dressing tasted more like a mayonnaise-based dressing, similar to coleslaw, and was on the sweet side, not what I expected from ranch dressing. The Mac n cheese was delicious. The banana cream pie, which was the main reason for our visit, turned out to be frozen and not homemade as we had hoped. The service was decent, and the restaurant was clean and well-organized. We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered the braised pork chop special, but the pork chops were buried under a mound of unappetizing wobbly fat. The meat tasted like it had been soaked in dirty water and was tough and dry. The sirloin steak I ordered medium came out like a burnt piece of charcoal. I could have used it to patch a pothole in the street. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but the quality of the food was extremely poor. It seems like the chef needs to reconsider their recipes or go back to the construction industry because the food we were served tasted like building materials.

Decided to give Jessica's another shot and was pleasantly surprised by the changes made since our last visit. They're back to offering refills on coffee and our waitress was one of the best we've ever had. She was very consistent in doing rounds and was very attentive when taking our orders. She alone made our experience really pleasant and enjoyable. But the food was amazing and I was happy in getting my usual. It's nice that things are back to the usual bustling atmosphere that it used to be and I hope it continues to be this way. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice little restaurant that seems clean and pleasant. You are likely to enjoy your meal and have a pleasant experience. Oreo Pancakes were amazing. The breakfast prices at this restaurant are incredibly high. Charging $4.00 for a cup of coffee is just unreasonable. We can find other places that are just as good, if not better. We used to go here, but we will not be returning. The vegetarian options are way too expensive, costing between $30–50 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1. Vegetarians should not consider dining here.

The Chicken stir fry never has the pea pods listed as an ingredient and the broccoli and cauliflower is also very limited. Yet peppers, which are CHEAP there's an over abundance. The meal is $17. However, the environment is clean and pleasant. The food is tasty. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
