"Came for half price boneless wings and they were amazing. The Bbq sauces are so good. I had the raspberry Habanero sauce and loved it. The perfect amount of heat and sweet! Thursday evenings are half-priced wings. The bread is perfect!"

that was the second jethros I was. it was my favorite. that was worth waiting when everyone tried to get in. when they taste the food, they will understand why. the waffelfries were the best I ever tried. the boneless chicken wings are like strips of thin chicken sky. it was the first time I didn't find myself in the position to finish my eating because I was so happy and full of delicious food. for the happiness they have taken container after home. the drinks were delicious and the place was clean. what was really nice was our waitress. she was nice, beautiful and funny to chat with. great personality that made you stay. it seemed like a great place to bring kids or have a birthday party....
Unexpected solo breakfast on a Sunday at 10am. Greeted and seated immediately at a high top. Combination of bar seating, tables, booths, and high tops. Generous number of TVs and they were playing different things which I appreciated. Ordered a make your own omelet with hashbrowns and marble rye toast. All exactly as I ordered them. Yay! The menu has enough choices without being overwhelming. Lots of things I was interested in trying. Service quick and friendly. Bathroom clean. $17 for a giant breakfast that was enough for 2 big meals. Tipped $5 as my server did great. I wish I wouldn't have been right by the server station. It was awkward. Stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed! I got the brisket and pulled pork, both great. Their beans were excellent, but the best part was their mashed potatoes with white gravy! Best I've ever had! My wife was lucky enough for me to be too full to finish my lunch, so she got to have the rest. She agreed that the potatoes were great!
We always make a point on stopping here everytime we travel through Des Moines. Everything we ordered has always been great, and the atmosphere is always lively and fun. The menu is pretty big, but I don’t think you can go wrong with anything. My favorite is the ribs and the selection of BBQ sauces provided on the table. Try em all!
We drove to eat something. Once we saw the sign, my wife said, let's try a few BBQ . We were very well treated by our server. She was very nice and did a great job. We were glad we made a decision to come here. The food was sufficient in taste and in quantity. We were happy. My daughter loved Mac and Cheese! We're coming back!
Great breakfast served all day long! I had French toast with bacon and hash browns. The bacon was top notch and I loved the crunchy potatoes! The menu has so many items I wanted t try them all plus all the good BBQ was hard to pass up and eat breakfast too. So we also had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich which was really tasty also
Where has this place been all of my life!? Who knew Iowa has the best BBQ in the country!!! My goodness, this place deserves 10 stars!!! Amazing kind service too!! If I lived in Iowa I’d eat here all of the time! It beats every BBQ I have had in other states hands down. And I live in Texas.
