They have the best inland seafood. Crab legs were hot and fresh tasting, as was the oysters. Fried green tomatoes and dipping sauce were delicious. They have a cute historic upstairs waiting area that has original woodwork and pictures of the house and local community from long ago. It's worth every penny for a full belly.

I love this place. They always have good food, and great service. If you enjoy local non-chain eateries, you should definitely check out Jewel City. I included two pics. One is a tuna steak and some jumbo shrimp. The other is an order of stuffed deviled crab. If you like seafood at all, try Jewel City.

Good location, limited parking though. I ordered the trio platter. Catfish, cod,and devil crab. With Cole slaw, fries, and green beans w/ tomatoes. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Overall a great meal. Except for the green beans with tomatoes. Meh. Fairly priced. Will be back.

The hush puppies were good and the crab mushroom was cheesy and delicious. I had high expectations for the main course, but was let down when the lobster tail was not fresh and tasted a little sour. Scallop and shrimp were too salty for my taste.
