Jiang Nan Ren Jia - Reservar una mesa

Went there yesterday evening with the significant other who originally is Chinese; she had the place recommended by a friend. As it is, we had passed by there a number of times on our way to other Chinese places (of which there are plenty in the hood) but somehow missed this one. Turns out that was a mistake. We had the fungi as appetizer and a fish in chilli sauce main as well as a beef and noodle main, together with a bottle of Hunter Valley red that we brought. The fungi were the best I have had and the fish main was also excellent. I did not care that much for the beef and noodle one and neither did my partner. Chinese food from Jiangnan province. A friend who knew the place took me to this restaurant where we indulged in rather interesting dishes such as : Basa fish with tripe in a stew, cold tripe in sweet dressing, pig ears in chili oil, tea mushrooms with chili and pork. Service was quite acceptable. Interior design was ok even if a little bit cold but, I definitely tried and enjoyed something new for me out of the prolific Chinese cuisine panorama.

Sydney's Chinatown is an interesting ares and a myriad of cafes and restaurants. This Kitchen type cafe Jiangnan Kitchen , specialises in food from the northern provinces of China. Large, but looked interesting. Try the miso soup served with the meals. Mushroom dishes we tried...More

Most places were closed as it was Christmas. So we wondered into China town and found this restaurant that was very simple but very tasty

味道有点辣，菜单描述不清楚。价格也太贵了，旅游的话还是选择别的。 菜式还算多，但用料不是很足。 装修很好。上菜速度很慢，而且没有顺序，吃完都还不上第二个，点菜后没有任何的跟进，之后点的菜基本要等上10分钟。
