Fantastic place, we returned 6 times in one week in Valmorel..! Very friendly staff with really great service (which is the downfall of a few other restaurants the village), very quick and attentive. We tried almost everything from full meals at dinner time, apres ski tapas snacks, early evening and late night drinks, sitting I side and out on the terrace. Each time, the reception was great, service was quick and the whole place very welcoming. Food is fresh, well-presented and very tasty. Family friendly at all times too, which is great as we have a 3 year old. This is a Mexican type resturant in a French ski resort, which in it's self is unique but add the swinging bar stools and the the palm leaves and you have something very different. The food is good also, we nearly all had different burgers,...from bison to fish and the special to veggie, that were tasty, especially the tangy tartare sauce on the fish burger, although the veggie burger was a bit bland. The bison steak was lovely and melted in the mouth. We didn't have cocktails this visit but have had some great cocktails here on other visits.
Stopped in Jimbo Lolo during the Spartan Race. Lots of people were only having coffee and croissants, and now I get why. I had a salad and my daughter had a kids cheeseburger. Both were just average nothing to write home about. Service was...good, waiter was very friendly and the ambiance was quite nice. Just don't expect fantastic food.
Tex mex in the valley ! Family run very friendly and food is superb never fails to please. Unique swings at the bar to sit on whilst you wait to be seated for your meal or just enjoy a drink or two chatting to the...friendly staff
