Thought fish and chips for a short middle week meal would be nice after a hectic day. Be here before that came back and ordered Grilled Perch. When it was brought out, it was wrapped in the film, it was cooked, swimming... in water (frozen) tasteless very small and NOT perch. I asked the cook if he had grilled the fish and he said yes in the foil. After asking him to tell him that the fish was shocking, he apologized and went back to the kitchen. Pretty sure the fish used was BASS and could have saved my self $8 and went to Woolies and cooked it my self on a real grill for $2. Totally demolished, Not what I ordered and derive a cheaper farmed freshwater fish for perch charge $10 for it. Will...
We purchased 2 pieces of flake 1 piece was so rubbery we could hold of the piece of flake in the air and bend it and it did not break at all, the other piece was tasteless. I rang the shop and they said they...had had a hiccup and the flake had not thawed out enough. I was offered a sorry, The chips were okay.
Jimbo offers friendly service and the fish and chips are dying. We didn't have enough cash, and the lady on the register entered the extra $1. Wow... how sweet is that!!! The place is super popular with locals, so... always a good sign. We will definitely come back.
Delicious traditional fries in abundance. We phoned ahead last week and arrived to find fresh, crispy fries coming out of the fryer. They are tasty and we are having difficulty exploring the rest of the menu because we can't get enough of the fries.

The breaded fillet was fresh and juicy, with beautifully cooked chips that were not greasy. The service was friendly, although there was a bit of a wait due to the restaurant being quite busy.
Had fish and chips here before, very nice indeed ! There is a table and chair to eat outside and we took a bottle of white and our own glasses.
Now our regular fish n chip take the food is great, crispy chips and good service. Call ahead as they are often busy waiting long

Great food with a wide variety to choose from. Outdoor seating available under cover. Not your typical restaurant setting.
Love the hit chips with chicken salt. Cooked nicely and have a slight crunch. Cooked in fresh oil also.
