We arrived at Cafe 47, located directly across from Jimmie's Chocolates, which boasts the title of Florida's oldest chocolatier, established in 1947. First and foremost, I must say that Jimmie's Hot Chocolate, made from real chocolate rather than a mix, was absolutely delightful. It certainly didn’t hurt that the weather was perfect for sipping hot cocoa. While our drinks were being freshly prepared, we took countless photos inside the charming shop. When my wife and I first visited for lunch, they had a Burger Special that day, but I opted for the steak sandwich instead. Oh my goodness, it was the BEST I've ever had! I’m usually not a big fan of beef, but this sandwich was exceptional. My wife ordered a salad with chicken breast, and it was equally excellent and delicious. We returned for dinner, and we were not disappointed. The shrimp appetizer was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. For my main course, I had Mariscos Criolla con Arroz, which is fresh seafood and shellfish in a Criolla-style sauce. It was AMAZING—so full of Latin flair and taste! We stopped by for a late dinner after passing by this charming restaurant several times. We couldn't have been happier! The eclectic dining room upstairs offered a great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food, topped off with wonderful dessert. The staff was incredibly friendly. We can't wait to return and enjoy the outdoor terrace when the weather warms up!

It's a bit on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it! This café is a must-visit! I've eaten here a few times, and the quality of the ingredients is exceptional. It felt like a dream! I absolutely loved the pecan cluster, and my wife was a big fan of the coconut balls! They price their treats by the pound, which makes it possible to indulge without breaking the bank. Just be careful not to go overboard—I found it easy to fill up on so many delicious options!

I had coffee with my mom yesterday, and it was such a nostalgic experience. The café has that classic old Florida charm that reminds me of my childhood. I found myself wandering around, snapping photos of the lovely surroundings. I can’t believe this hidden gem is right in our backyard!
