I’ve been disappointed with the service during my last few visits, and I won’t be returning. The food isn’t made to order as promised. I’ve repeatedly requested to omit something I don’t want, only to still receive it. Additionally, the wait time for a simple sandwich was unreasonably long; it certainly wasn’t "freaky fast." There seemed to be a lack of urgency, with staff members leaning against counters and tossing their water bottles around. It felt as though the employees were indifferent to serving customers or whether anyone came back. Given this level of service, it’s easy to see why restaurants are closing across the Des Moines area.
We stopped at the drive-thru to place our order. While we were trying to decide what to get, the employee kept pushing us to make a choice repeatedly. We hurriedly glanced at the menu, but were still pressured to decide. There were no other cars behind us, so the rush felt unnecessary. We requested one sandwich to be cut in half, and we were told that wouldn't be a problem. The wait at the window was brief, but unfortunately, the sandwich wasn’t cut as we had asked. I'm not trying to criticize this place, but it would be great if they could listen more carefully and ease up on the urgency. Thanks!
