I decided to start with an Arnold Palmer, which should be a mix of half lemonade and half iced tea. Unfortunately, I was served a glass of iced tea with only two lemon twists. Clearly, there wasn't enough lemon juice to create the drink I was expecting. I usually order an Arnold Palmer to gauge the overall quality of the food.
Not feeling like a traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, or pancakes, I chose Jim's Super Burrito. I went with beef for the meat option and selected the toppings listed on the menu. Pros are the huge parking lot, the fact that it's located close by on Bayfarm and that there's plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor.The food is meh. Their portions are huge but it's also pricey for what you get. I've gotten cold fries before, and their eggs benedict is lacking.3 stars because their service is incredibly slow...on multiple occasions it's taken a long time just to get menus, water, you name it. If you're coming to eat, be prepared to wait. There have been times when I debated between eating here (because it's closer to home) vs. eating on Main Island (takes longer to drive there and back) and I should have opted for the latter.
I'm an Alamedan, homegrown. I've eaten at Jim's (near Park St) and Ole's since 1989. I cannot recommend Jim's on the Course: please go to Ole's. Ole's is by far by favorite brunch place in Alameda. The service here is slow and all over the place, and the sausage patties are gross. If you absolutely want waffles, although I recommend Ole's pancakes, Jim's on the island is your bet. Save your money and time- don't come here. You've been warned.

This is an excellent spot for breakfast! I've visited several times since I live near Maitland. The menu is straightforward, making it easy to choose from. The patio seating offers lovely views of the golf course, and the fresh air adds to the relaxing atmosphere. As for parking, there are plenty of spaces available.
The steak was cooked perfectly and arrived hot, served with mashed potatoes, veggies, and salad. Everything was fresh and awesome! Jim's on the course never fails to deliver a great dining experience.
Good for a breakfast or lunch date. They have outdoor indoor seating. The staff is friendly. The parking lot feel safe enough to park your car--a rare find in the Bay Area.
The food is excellently cooked, and the breakfast portion is generous enough to enjoy half now and save the rest for tomorrow.

Food is awesome! corned beef hash was excellent hash browns with a crisp golden top, great, eggs over medium perfect.
This restaurant offers fantastic value with consistently delicious dishes that are always cooked to perfection.
