I spent $300 on a seafood meal that was overcooked and excessively seasoned. I informed the waitress that our $100 seafood bowl was so heavily seasoned with Old Bay that it was nearly inedible. She simply shrugged and moved on without showing any concern. By the end of our meal, she made no attempt to rectify the situation. We decided to speak with the manager, who only offered to let us pay for half of the uneaten meal. The seafood was not only overcooked but overwhelmingly seasoned as well. It felt more like a fast food experience than a fine dining outing. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is that the appetizers were enjoyable. We had the worst customer service we've ever experienced at a restaurant. It wasn't even busy when we arrived. We waited 10 minutes for a table and then had to wait another 15 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. When our food finally arrived, it was bland and tasteless. To make matters worse, my wife had to go find someone to get us utensils, and we ended up having to go get our own check before we could leave. We will not be returning. From everyone I've spoken to, it seems like they've had similar experiences there. I should have listened to others' advice and gone somewhere else... big disappointment.
Food was great!! Service was horrible.. waited more then five minutes to be seated and the place was empty.. even had a couple in from of me to waiting to be seated. the hostess was no where to be found.. she walked by and said I will be right back.. the waitress was friendly but really never checked on me until the end after I asked for the check.. She let me drink go dry.. also brought out the wrong food to me also..
Normally this place is awesome and fun. We go here at least every year for my birthday. The food is always great, as it was this time. There's usually a lot of celebration with birthdays but this time there was nothing. I don't know if our server was new or just distracted but it wasn't that busy when we were there. We love the place and will always go back

I left the states and went to South Korea 8 years ago now that I'm back, I decided to try Joe's Crab Shack which I had been missing. Definitely not the same restaurant it used to be. The atmosphere, menu, offerings none of it is Joe's Crab Shack anymore. Huge disappointment. It feels like somebody else bought out Crab Shack and tried to upscale it.
Just off Broadway, nice place to avoid all the madness and get a table right away. Many different seafood options, big portions and reasonable prices. Food came out quite, it was hot and fresh. Server and manager were both very nice and assisted us with all of our needs.
Went to Joes in Pigeon Forge. The food was a costly mistake. It tasted horrible. The crab meat was over cooked, or old. It was not even warm. We love crab meat and couldn’t eat it all. $4 for a soda!!! Over priced for everything!
The food was not great for the price. The lobster bisque was bland and the crab tasted old. The crab shell was very brittle and little pieces ended up in the meat.

the service was great. that was delicious. it's from broadway, so I feel it's not as much business as it should be. in any case worth a visit.
The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
