We celebrated our moms birthday here with a party of 8. We were able to get a seat right away on a Saturday at 5:30. The staff were very responsive and helpful when asked questions about the menu. The restrung is family friendly, they have a parking lot and the prices are decent. The ambiance is trendy and casual. As the appetizer we ordered the calamari and New England clam chowder; both were tasty. I ordered the seared salmon which came with white rice and broccoli. Overall the entree lacked flavor and was bland. My father ordered the coconut shrimp and fish platter; his shrimp were overcooked and mushy. Joe's Crab Shack is closing its doors on May 26, 2024. My mom is treating me to dinner there for my birthday before they shut down. Comparing the pictures, I've noticed that the quality of their famous Classic Steam Pot has really declined as they approach closing. The left picture from 2022 shows what it used to look like, while the right picture looks like something you’d find in a garbage can. To make matters worse, they've replaced the hushpuppies shown on the left with just a single hard-boiled egg covered in Old Bay that's visible in the right picture above the corn. The lesson here is clear: when a restaurant announces it’s going out of business, it's best to avoid eating there!

The best restaurant in the universe! I frequent this establishment and the food is exceptionally incredible every single time. The service is impeccable. The bar keeps are the absolute most knowledgeable and fun to be around. Kaitlin is the greatest bartender in the world, along with Cade and Molly. The manager is the best and keeps this place running like clockwork. That would be Jessica. The seafood is always fresh and cooked to perfection! Always. Everytime I go there everyone is upbeat and enjoys watching our favorite baseball team 'The Philllies '. George is a great employee here always willing to help out everyone. I recommend this restaurant for sure to everyone!

This was my first experience at Joe's Crab Shack. The atmosphere of the restaurant was enjoyable and well-decorated. However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. Unfortunately, it felt more like a fast food seafood place. To begin, we ordered calamari and clam chowder. The calamari was crispy and the clam chowder was thick and tasty. Moving on to the main courses, my partner enjoyed her crab legs, but my shrimp dish was disappointing. The sides were also rather bland. We had an amazing time at Joe's Crab House. Our server, who also acted as the bartender, was outstanding! The drinks were excellent, and the customer service was flawless—always attentive to our needs. Every dish that came out was perfect and full of flavor, and the desserts were simply delightful. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience!

Been holding on to some gift cards for quite a while as we do not have a Joe's near us....so when we traveled and one was in the area we had to stop in. Great service....tasty meals and an overall good experience. Very clean and quick attentive service....Fish was piping hot and everything was cooked well and tasty.....

really yummy seafood boil! Not too salty and overall good flavor. The restaurant is clean and nice and the service is quick. Our waiter was really fun and even wrote silly things on our bibs! Really nice to take the family after going out for the day. Fun, place to eat, great atmosphere, and good food.

last night was the worse experience ever, the waitress looked like she came off the streets, she had no pad/pen which is why she forgot some of the order, an apology don't always work. moving forward i wont visit here unless its a friday/saturday this is when they seem to have their **** together. The review is from a few months back. The location had plenty of seats and was clean. They had a friendly staff, the service was quick, and the food was great...from the apps, the entree, and the drinks! Definitely looking forward to getting back there soon.
