Go to the valley twice a year before Covid hit...finally got there this week....one of our favourite eateries!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?...You judge!!!...Ordered a inch Mediterranean pizza...requested no green peppers, thin crust...my husband...fish and chips...pretty standard for a pub...right? We of course were...offered our drinks....place not busy on a Monday nite...we waited hours!!...Waitress finally came over and asked if we wanted another drink...we answered...might as well we are waiting for our food well over an hour now...is there a problem...oh she said...they forgot and made it with green peppers...had to redo....thats fine...mistakes are made on a not too busy Monday!!! Having worked in the food service industry I may be a bit harder to please than usual. My first visit to Joe's was about years ago and the Scots skins are a favorite as well as the now long gone beef oven roasted sub....So since my favorite sub was no longer on the menu I order the beef dip. This is described as shaved roasted hip if beef served with au jus. The sandwich showed up with the beef cut with the grain (as opposed to best practice across the grain) this was more of a pulled beef sandwich. Pulled pork is popular but no one expects their beef dip to be prepared this way! The au jus was ok but the beef was dry and stringy. Not a pleasant experience. We had a server who was self admit...

We are longtime customers of Joe’s. My husband longer then I he goes back when it was Elmer’s Pizza. Since I moved to the valley some years ago as a permanent resident.I moved here from USA but have spent summers here for my whole...life months olds to be exact.I love trying new food PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS are still my favourite.They are the best and closest I have tried. Very good assortment of food, I even tried Lebanese rice last night with my baked haddock and it was GF to boot. Thank you for such a wonderful eating experience to all of Joe’s staff CHEF very much included.

We ordered take-out from Joe's tonight for supper. Hubby had the steak and baked potato, which is always a winner. I enjoyed the chicken souvlaki. It was absolutely delicious. It looked and smelled so good that I skipped straight to the main course and postponed...the greek salad. It was a very generous serving ..... chicken, grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms, rice, tzatziki and warm flatbread....the salad is in the fridge waiting for tomorrow lunch. FYI Joe's has THE best pizza in Wolfville also.

Two couples trying to celebrate an engagement. Was told to leave because they didn’t like my fiancé’s eyes. Called to address the situation said: we were to drunk to be there even though we were sober. Thee worst customer service we’ve ever experienced.
