Joe was recommended by a local friend when we visited Philadelphia. We were both very excited to endure the notorious philly cheese steak and not to deliver Joe's. The service was professional, friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere felt very local, but in a good way, they had to play furious rock, but it did not deduct from us, made for interesting conversations. The food was very tasteful in a variety of ways. The bread was a high quality, which for the slight lack of spices on the steak, but we added paprika and sauces that brought the treat to ten times. Oh, my stars?! I can't say how much our group LUVED Joe? Steaks Soda Shop! This is the most authentic and classic restaurant. The staff here kills a steak/soda at a time!! The cheese steak was excellent, the milkshakes heavenly, and the birch beer was the BEST I ever had in my whole life. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and fast. Our food was delivered hot and our group was delighted with the meal. If I lived in Philly, this place would be on my monthly dinner. No ruffles, just good food and good people. Steak's soda shop, stop the hard work. We appreciate you and wish you success!

EXTRA WIZ WIT! a realy good place to come get a cheesesteak! If your a out of towner this is one of the places all of local peeps argue about who has the best cheesesteak. Joe's is always in the discussion. Aside from great cheesesteaks they have great sodas shakes and fries yummmmmmm!

My husband decided to try another cheese place, then those we usually go to and we were not disappointed. The service was great from the moment we came in. We will definitely be back with our children. We enjoyed our food very much.

Whenever I'm in Philly I'm sure I'm coming over. It's not just the cheese steaks, it's the milkshakes, it's the crabs. The service is also without peer, friendly and accomodating every time. 5 Cheesesteaks up!
