The service is always top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming to everyone. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a warm vibe that makes you feel right at home. We have eaten 3 times at Joey D's recently. The service is impeccable. Each time we tried different items, and we were always very happy with everything we tried. For starters, the Caesar salad and she crab soup are candidates for the best in the city. The meatballs and the baby crab dip are very good. I'm looking forward to going again and trying the wings. I 've been taking clients to Joey D 's for four years. Linen tablecloths, fast friendly service, excellent food served quickly and efficiently. Their portions are quite generous for example, their barbeque chicken sandwich comes open faced and is more than you can eat with a knife and fork. Their seafood dishes are outstanding, and the atmosphere both inside and on the patio is first rate. Regarding service, the wait staff knows when to serve and when to let you conduct business. Their people have obviously been very well trained. My only gripe (and its minor): they won 't seat you until your entire party arrives. I finally got here after 20 years of curiosity. It was nice but nothing special. Food was pretty good I had a garlicky shrimp/ cheesy pasta dish and Mom had the double rack of ribs. I've had better dirty martinis! Our server (whose name i forgot) was very pleasant, but rarely came back to check on us after we got our food. I think it was probably about 45 minutes before we saw her again. She had a table of 8 across the room so my party of 2 was an afterthought. We ordered 2 entrees to go for other family members. Again, just ok. Curiosity satisfied and I'm good no need to return!

I went to Atlanta and somehow landed in Sandy Springs. The Perimeter Mall area has the best restaurants of everything, for me, as I have worked, good restaurants. But Joey D's was by far the best. Not only is atmosphere excellent, the bar is beautiful with the mirrors and ladders, with excellent service, and the happy hour buffet is delicious. I didn't have the opportunity to eat in all the beautiful restaurants there, but I think it's a landmark.
Had a wonderful experience. My trout was delicious. My companions both ordered carrots and didn’t care for them. We said nothing to our server about them but a guy from the kitchen noticed them on the plates that were returned to the kitchen and came to ask about why they were not eaten. We then gave honest feedback and he thanked us for our candor and offered us an additional drink on the house. Phenomenal guest service.
Joey D's is fantastic. If you are near the Perimeter Shopping Centre, you should really try. The steaks are great, but the hidden secrets are the baby-back ribs and believe it or not... the chicken. Great salads and a fillet sandwich that is perfect for lunch. I eat a lot (and not only in Atlanta) and this place is consistently excellent.
The restaurant was one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. The service was by far the best I’ve ever received. I will see them again.

Excellence service and the food was good. We order a little bit of everything and racked up a huge bill but it was worth it.
