I visited the restaurant at 9:45 PM, unaware that they now close at 10:00 PM. While the sign indicated a 10 PM closing time and the staff confirmed it, they still accepted our order for a whole chicken cutlet sandwich. When I got home, I found the chicken to be tough and slightly sour. I waited until the next day to call and was informed that no refunds were available because I didn't call until then. I explained that I thought they were closed, but the employee said he was there until 11 PM. I wasn't informed of this since their hours clearly state a 10 PM closing time. When we first discovered Joey's, it was amazing. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Unfortunately, things have changed. Recently, they got my order wrong and requested the leftover half of my sandwich back, offering me half of a different sandwich in return. However, the replacement was also made incorrectly. I've never encountered this kind of service anywhere else. I haven't ordered from them since. Their customer service has been very disappointing.
I was very unhappy with the meal I received tonight. It was not what I ordered, and when I called to complain, I was told that I could only receive a 10% discount on my next order. When I mentioned that I wasn't sure when I would order again, he offered to replace one of the items but insisted that I send the incorrect item back. I have NEVER experienced this kind of service from any restaurant before. In my opinion, this is extremely poor customer service.
I have been eatting at joey's for the past 25 year's since they were originally on Union and even after Joey and Joey split the business year's ago and went on to different locations never a problem with the place I still remember when my uncle used to take me to joey's and sit me on the counter and Joey would give me a meatball on a fork a great family run business with amazing food

Extremely slow service and delivery. Staff is rude if you call to check on a past due order. In person, staff has no manners nor soft skills. Food is delivered cold, since it takes over 1.5 hours to receive a simple meal on the weekends. there seems to be a cheese shortage there. Save your money and time and go visit/call Sicilia, Gino's, 3Guys, Ritaccos or many others nearby.
I have order from them over 14 years an now its not the same they will not get a call from me ever again
Food is good, but takes 10 years to deliver.
