Was here some years back with my lady and our kids. This was after we found the little and unique getaway known as San Pedro's fish market(a favorite of ours) destroyed, along with the surrounding amalgamation of small and unique, culturally distinct and varying shops and attractions just to make room for yet another copy and paste area for white and wealthy hipsters and their continued gentrification of people of color(brown, black and even some Asians). We didn't know what to eat after that and just happened to see this spot on maps while driving around. If you're in the mood for BBQ in Torrance, the ribs are a good choice. The ribs and chicken are both tasty, but the other menu items are just average compared to authentic backyard BBQ. The mac n cheese reminded me of a boxed mix, and the brisket seemed like it was reheated in the microwave. The prices are also quite high - $12 for a side of hot links that only included 2 links and a similarly small portion of brisket also priced at $12. For the prices they charge, I expected larger portions and better flavor. My family of three spent $70 and left the restaurant feeling full, but with no leftovers. Overall, I probably won't be returning due to the prices and mediocre quality of the food.

Joey's BBQ in the South Bay area is a hidden gem with incredible meat offerings. Their brisket is a standout, moist and flavorful, unlike any other. The BBQ sauce complements the meat perfectly, and the tri-tip and Cajun hot links are also highly recommended. The service is always top-notch, with professional and courteous employees. A BBQ stalwart in the area, Joey's is a must-visit spot for BBQ lovers. Hopefully, they will expand and extend their hours in the future! Thank you, Joey's!

A very casual, no nonsense BBQ joint. We stumbled across this place on accident and were happy we did! The tri-tip was excellent, along with the pulled pork. My kids ate all my cornbread pieces so I can’t review that, but they said it was awesome! We will definitely be back. Reserva una mesa ahora

My search for good BBQ is over! Tom is very friendly. Great chicken, never had brisket before. Tender, good smoke flavor. But the Yam with cinnamon butter... to die for. Good Cornbread too. I'll be back for sure.Parking: Plenty of parking

Food was solid. For California BBQ it is up there. Relatively inexpensive with decent portions. Warm BBQ sauce brought out with the food is a nice touch.Kid-friendliness: Kid meals were a huge hit with my 3 boys
