I was down visiting my old school friend and we decided to do a late lunch early dinner there as I had just finished at Kings college Hospital, was starving and she had always wanted to visit the shop even though she live in the area, I live 15 miles away. We arrived i can only assume was 4.55pm , We enquired about ordering and was told to place and pay for order and this would be brought to our table. Our order was surprisingly quick, so we enjoyed food and small talk as friends catching up. Absolutely recommend this place. The food is excellent and not expensive. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the waitress wasn't wearing a mask. On the plus side, the whole side of the restaurant is open (the walls/windows) fold back to open up the whole place with fresh air. The menu is excellent and varied. Ask for Halal no issue. Lots of vegetarian. You order at the till and pay and then take a seat. Saw the waitress changing the knives/forsk in the pots on the table every 15 minutes (covid measure). The food is excellent can recommend the omlettes and all the breakfasts are so great. Wide range of food including mediterranean and english. The place is almost always busy...

A few negative reviews so want to share positive experience we had today! Obviously really popular place, lots of people already seated but seats available. My friend sat at a table and I queued to place order, largeish q, but moved quickly. Sat down and meals arrived within 10 minutes, cutlery and condiments already on table. Food delicious we both had cheese, spinach, mushroom and tomato omelette) . Portions enormous, but very tasty so we had to eat it all plates cleared promptly but we were not rushed to leave. Staff very polite and saw the same staff member, serving, Waitressing and clearing tables hope they are tipped well they deserve it! Great experience...will be back!!!!

This restaurant is excellent! The service is fast and nearly amazing. I have been coming here on and off for the past 6 years, while my friend has been a loyal customer for 30 years since it was just a small cafe. The food is cooked to perfection, and the cashier is attentive and open to modifying orders, although it is not advisable because the food is already delicious. This diner deserves six stars - it is the best. The milkshakes are incredibly creamy, and overall the food is a step above regular diner fare. It's great value for the quality you receive. It's a shame because I was enjoying my breakfast until I turned around and saw the finger licking pregnant waitress which completely put me off, totally disappointed with the lack of hygiene and covid measures, Staff not wearing mask clearly no regard for patrons. Social distancing markers on the floor but totally ignored by all.

The food at this restaurant was of good quality and served quickly and hot. However, I was disappointed to see a staff member in the kitchen handling food with his bare hands without washing them. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Came here for brunch , ordered eggs Benedict looked lovely but muffin was like a door stop. To be fair they changed it but it was then not even toasted, might be worth not discussing customers concerns in the kitchen too as very unprofessional

This cafe is well-managed, clean, and delicious! We were suggested to visit this place and it did not disappoint. There are plenty of breakfast and meal choices, reasonable prices, and the space is large and clean. Definitely recommended! Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful cafe on cold harbour lane , friendly polite staff , a family environment, I would not eat any were else!!!! Jonnys is the place to be , exceptional customer service thank you jonnys

One of the best English breakfast that I try also the pancakes and omelette are delicious. I love the coffee with the little biscuit.
