Late Food Friday post. Tried out Johnny Long Hots. Went with the Rocky Cutlet sandwich. It has a choice of cutlet, Prosciutto, broccoli rabe, and provolone on a seeded Italian roll. I choose chicken and this was a great sandwich. The chicken had a lot offlavor. Fried nicely and good seasoning on the breading. The rabe added some nice veggie flavor. The Prosciutto was alright. Theprovolone, rabe, and chicken brought a lot of flavor so it was a bit difficult to isolate the Prosciutto. The roll was fine andI think the seeds are a good addition. Solid 8.1 10. I ordered 4 trays (aluminum half pans) of roast pork for a party. There wasn't a bite leftover and the trays were packed full of meat. The pork was fresh, tender, juicy and easy to heat up since I picked it up a day before the party. The pork was notdry at all, even after the heat up. The trays were packaged nicely, I didn't burn my hands and the boxes were sturdy. I carriedit by myself easily, all in one trip. My calls were returned promptly and employees/owner were pleasant and helpful. Theirprices were reasonable, although they do need to update the prices on their website. I am a repeat customer and will continuebeing a loyal customer. Thank you for making my party a hit.
I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I'm so glad I did! The sandwiches are absolutely incredible, and the place is spotless, with a wonderfully friendly staff. I tried the pizza steak and the Yo Philly, and I will definitely be returning, even though it’s quite a distance from my home! I did take a couple of bites before snapping the pictures—should have taken the photos first, but I just couldn’t resist!

We are big fans! The food is delicious, though I wish the tater tots were a bit crispier. The long hots are excellent, and the sandwiches are fantastic. The toasted sesame rolls are a wonderful addition! The interior isn't anything special, but I highly recommend the food! They are also accommodating for people with gluten allergies, offering options without the roll or on a lettuce bed.
I stopped by Johnny Longshot Steaks for a bite to eat after some sightseeing in Philly, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I ordered the beef Cajun cheesesteak, and I was genuinely impressed by the consistent flavor. Their Italian ice was a delightful treat to enjoy after devouring such a hearty sandwich. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves good food.
We are fans! Food is good. Wish the tots were a little crispier. The long hots are great. Sandwiches are great. The toasted sesame rolls are a huge plus! Inside isn't much, but highly recommend the food!!!!! And they will accommodate for ppl withgluten allergy- either no roll or lettuce bed. ????
Although I'm not an expert on Philly cheesesteaks, I have to say that this place serves the best one I've ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious! The value for what you get is fantastic. The establishment is clean, and the staff is very helpful. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.

I had the chicken cutlet with cheese, fried onions, and long hot peppers, and it was absolutely packed with flavor! The staff here were extremely friendly and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend trying it! Don't forget to grab a cannoli on your way out. You're welcome!
