Johnny's Farmhouse

My friends took me out to celebrate my birthday. The place was packed, at 5pm, but they had gotten a table reserved for 8. It took about 15 minutes to get a waiter and another 15 to get drinks and start ordering. The waiter (Scott) explained the restaurant was extremely short-handed. I was just thirsty but I understood their situation. Scott was covering his section and our party. So he was running his tail off. I ordered Little Miss Mary's Fried Chicken (2 breasts) with honeycomb drizzle, a side salad and onion rings. Their side salad is almost a meal by itself. A family member recommended this place and I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was definitely pleasantly surprised and plan to return again to try some other menu items. Our party of 6 arrived late morning on Father's Day without a reservation. We were quickly seated after a minimal wait. Our server came to our table promptly and continued to check on us frequently throughout our meal. All of our food was delicious. They were able to accommodate my son's gluten free diet. The only issue we had was that our meals did not all come out at once. My mom's meal never came out at all. Holy smokes, batman. Huge menu. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. Tobasco Honey Chicken was delicious. Ask for extra sauce to dip, and know that the chicken is ~2x the size of the bun. No onions in the broccoli casserole (thumbs up! , yummy mac 'n cheese, fun and flavorful baby potatoes. We 'll surely be back. Hostess was a love and the waiter, Jake, was outstanding. 10/10 all of the way around.

Great place with country side look in a city, menu was unique when compared to other American Cuisine. Great place to have lunch or dinner with family, prices will be in double dollar for most of the items. Have enough parking and they accept both card and cash.

Woo-hoo, loved it! First time at the Concord address. Just as excellent as the Mooresville one. No wait for a table, server was excellent and food came fast. Recommend!
