For months (even years), my Filipino coworkers have been hyping it up, but my experience was not all that great. First of all, I came in and no one greeted me, there’s no sign for pick up orders, and it wasn’t until everyone else that came after me asked about their order that I realized there’s no real organization to dine-in vs carry-out orders. I nearly rated this restaurant 4 stars due to the slower service (there's a sign at the front desk indicating they're understaffed), but after tasting the spicy chicken with gravy once more, I instantly raised it back to 5 stars. The chicken is large, crispy, and tender, with a genuine kick—it's infused with spices directly into the meat, rather than just the coating. This used to be my go to place for spicy fried chicken but they've suddenly gone downhill recently.Ordered online for pickup the next day and when I went to pick it up, it wasn't ready and had to wait another 30 mins on top due to staffing issues. I ordered 6 pcs chicken half spicy half classic flavor and a family pack palabok last night 6/22/23 at 8:20 pm. Waited more than 45 mins for my order, went back several times just to check if order is ready and crew said they are still preparing it. Went back couple of times again and said that they just waiting for the mango pie. So finally I went back again and it was all packed and went home just to find out that I am missing the mango pies and all the chicken was only classic flavor. I am so disappointed that I waited like 20 mins for the mango pie just to find out it was not in the bag. It was already 10pm by the time I got home and store is already closed. Order number is 255.
Worst experience ever!I 'd been waiting for 45 mins and the food never come out because they give my order to the customer who come after me. I point out this to the guy who take my order and the manager but they do nothing. The manager ask me to wait for another 20 mins to fried new chicken!!!This guy at the register even asked me when I order Palabok How many pieces do you want? Really!? Can you count noodles?The worst part is the manager who takes around 15mins face time with someone to figure out the way to void my ticket.Staffs don 't know what they are doing. Although the staff were friendly and the food was decent, we experienced a lengthy wait for our orders. The chicken sandwiches were moist and flavorful with a light crust, but unfortunately, the crust lacked seasoning, making it quite bland. I had been looking forward to trying Jollibee for some time, but I left feeling disappointed. They really need to improve significantly to compete with Popeyes, which offers larger pieces of better-seasoned chicken on superior buns.
First time trying Jolibee in US. The last time I tried was in PH, but it wasnt great. Here in US, the fried chicken is accompanied by mushroom gravy, which the kids love. Adobo Rice is great too, kinda like Chicken Steam Hainam Rice. And they serve white rice, which is rare in US Fried Chicken chain restaurant. This store is a stand alone store. Kyla and Zee are fantastic; they provide outstanding customer service. Jolieebee is hands down the best fried chicken place—better than Popeyes and KFC. I just wish there were more locations and that the employees received better pay. They consistently do an excellent job, and I'm always satisfied with my experience. Food rating: 5/5.
