I've been visiting the jolly crofters for a few years, especially for the Monday night quiz, which is much better than any other pub quiz I've ever made. the pub itself is full of history and character, there is a great selection of drinks. (particularly lagurs) and all at a reasonable price. my partner and I had a few meals in the pub and were always very impressed by the quality, price and taste in the kitchen. the natives are a friendly, welcoming bundle, but they are the owners for me that covers it and lets me go back. alison and barrie have made a brilliant job, personable, friendly and really decent people who do a lot for charity in the opposite too. recommend a stop when they are in...

We went to a child’s party here today January , what a great time the children had , the management had a separate area for the children so other customers were not inconvenienced . The mother had provided an Anna and Elsa to entertain...the children which was great and kept the children occupied for hours with games,music and face painting . The pub provided the drinks and food for the children,chicken nuggets, chips ,onion rings and peas , there was plenty for everyone even the parents had a snack too . I would recommend the Jolly crofters for a great party , nothing was too much trouble for the team .

I would like to say that I am a tribe of the jolly crofters, as I probably once in the month, I have noticed at my last visit that the manager, when the putztic looks around what looks when someone watched...him, then he puts the tips that were left directly into his pocket! Now this could be all legitimate, and I hope that he has put these tips with the hard working staff that he has been working back for! Hospitality staff should be rewarded for their hard work, and good in these days are hard to find! I hope the manager read this and take it on board!

during the pandemic this was the only place that would host a wake for my father's funeral and we were so glad that they were, because we literally couldn't have asked for a better service or better food for our crew. Since then, my partner has been and I have been back several times and every time I enjoyed it. consistently good eating, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, especially the Fab owners barrie and alison. not to mention that it is a dog-friendly pub, what more can they demand! Six of us had a Christmas meal last Friday. The team including the management were brilliant, excellent service. All the food was piping hot, of the group had the turkey dinner which they all enjoyed and I had the Xmas burger which was very...good, the Xmas decorations are brilliant and give the place a real festive feel. Would recommend as also really good value. Looking forward to my next visit.

Called in on chance for lunch on Monday quickly seated and orders taken for the of us. We all chose different starters mains, and we all agreed the meals served were delicious well presented and portions huge for the price paid. We...would definitely recommend to anyone. Thankyou to all staff will definitely be returning.

the first time we called here after we had taken our dog to the veterinarian when we heard that the pub dog was friendly. we ordered the lunch menu and both had a starter, pornstar, pints of pepsi max. the service was excellent and. the eating top kitchens! we are coming back very safe, thank you

This is the place to take your friends for a drink, take the family for a meal. Staff are amazing and friendly and you can take kids, dogs or your Nan. Honestly such an amazing place this is our local but I don’t live...anywhere near here. Always the place to be. Reserva una mesa ahora

Once again Jolly Crofters made my day the best it could have been. Food served hot and perfectly cooked. Enjoyed every moment of today and thankyou to the staff for everything they did. Highly recommended to everyone.

We just love it here, staff are amazing and always friendly and willing to chat. Staff remember our drinks and regular come and have a chat. DOG FRIENDLY PUB..... just the best type of pub !!!!
