Fantastic old little jewel in the center of Oxford. It is great that this place is still here and that has not yet been converted into a Tesco Express. It was a Saturday evening when I visited, mostly younger people and students, but the atmosphere was great, the sofas were super comfortable, and the selection and prices for drinks are not too bad. The staff was friendly and friendly. Look forward to your visit and Oxford soon again.

Long-standing traditional pub in the center of Oxford, but right on the beaten track. A wide selection of seats inside with many corners and claws. The backyard is large and very beautiful. Serve Sunday roast packages for £7.50 in the afternoon of our visit! Good choice of Ales and craft beer. I really liked the place and would return.

A haven of peace and with very cosy armchairs and surroundings just a couple of minutes walk from the bustle of the city centre. Very friendly staff and the quiet piped music ensured that my wife and I could chat easily. We make a point of drinking here whenever we visit Oxford.

Very nice lovely pub, just off the high street, away from the crowds. It's like an oasis on a hot way, comfy sofas, lovely athmosphere and staff.. Strogly recommended. . No food served but you can order in. Beed garden is lovely as well.

Update. The manager approached our table and immediately rectified the issue. Very impressive mgmt. Kind and responsive bartenders. Whimsical space, couches and decor. No music. Yet wouldn’t let us play Renaissance on my phone quietly.

Charming pub, full of character just off the beaten track. Great selection of well kept ales at good prices. The staff gave a warm welcome on arrival and were friendly throughout. Perfect all round!!

Love this place! Delicious withdrawal selection. Should be the official target for American moms who just born their first in an Oxford hall. Cider, do everything better!

Lovely quaint old pub. Doesn't do food but they are happy to let you order food from elsewhere and eat it in the pub. First pub I've seen that's LGBTQ friendly.

Loved the decor of the back garden, the warm and friendly staff and the whole mood of the place. Would definitely visit my next visit to Oxford again!
