super splintery! the best fish and chips I had in a long time, huge (literal massiw) squirting fish in crispy teig, the regular chips were massiw and the sausages (screamed and unbattered) that were eaten around the table looked delicious! and the currysoße was also beautiful. it could not eat anything that, if 4 meals are shared between 4 adult and two children, is always a good sign! and the service was excellent, friendly and efficient! a job very well done and I am sure we are back

I’ve had the chips fish, cheesy chips, chips and sausage the curry sauce and gravy. It’s a pretty decent chippy to be honest, very popular with locals. Large Cheesy chips under £3 with good cheese, expect to pay 30p for a one off squirt thing. An average lunch will cost you £6 with a drink etc. No wooden forks given either.

some amazing fresh tasting fish in big teig. I read a Dodgy review from someone who had never checked before or after and decided to ignore it. I'm glad I did it when it was a big fish shop. I would suggest getting 10 minutes there before it opens. personal and friendly and polite.

best fish I had in years. very generous portions too. amazing chips too. would be great to see an option to add the fish lemon wedge, this was just a little missing. I will recommend

thick, juicy piece of cod, perfectly cooked and a beautiful fleshy squid. chips were also on the square. up there with the best fish chips I had. thanks, jolly rogers.
