This was our first time ordering from here and it’s almost closing time too but the food taste so good and so fresh. Loved it all. The sweet potatoes smell and taste like Christmas morning y’all !!! Absolutely delicious, we will be returning for dinner in person soon and this one time meal has us thinking we just found our place to cater our wedding reception. Wow! Porch chops, Mac and chz, greens, baked beans, corn bread is what we ordered !!! I’m almost in a good coma !!! The food is just like the Holidays! Hmmmm, GOOD !!! God surely showed up at this place with a huge blessing. Thank you Jesus !! Thank you Josannes’ ! Lifetime customers here we come!

Ordered carry out for the first time tonight after having heard rumors of how good the chicken is. The rumors all proved to be very true, if not understated. The sides (we had cabbage and Mac n cheese) were the best sides I’ve had! My wife was over the moon that they had fried cabbage, then even more pleasantly surprised when it was amazing! The chicken was hot and fresh and the juiciest I’ve had in a long time. I got the chicken love 8 piece meal, which came with two sides. The most pleasant surprise and my personal favorite was the cornbread. Needless to say, we won’t be going anywhere else for chicken and I am now dying to try the rest of the menu!

I'm so happy I live close to this place. I can always get a little taste of southern bliss here. I've almost explored the whole menu, but I really love their fried catfish and chicken.The sides are tasty. My favorites are the green beans and the cabbage. The baked beans greens are good too. Last time I went there they were serving spaghetti it's the real deal.The service is always prompt and despite having to wait a little bit it is ALWAYS worth it.

We discovered Josanne's through a Google search for restaurants. I ordered the fried chicken, accompanied by a side of cabbage and creamy coleslaw. The chicken was served piping hot and the cabbage was bursting with flavor. My wife and daughter shared an order of chicken strips with green beans and macaroni and cheese, and they enjoyed both sides immensely. They also really liked the hot water cornbread. Josanne's Homestyle Kitchen truly makes you feel at home! The food is delicious and always prepared fresh to order. Since my very first visit, I've been hooked on the chicken and waffles (with two sides) and I've never been let down. The portion sizes are generous for the price, making it a fantastic value. And the Kool-Aid? It's absolutely amazing and comes in a large serving! I really love this place!

Church Tea. Has nothing to do with Jesus, but man is it some good stuff! This place is a must visit for me. Some of the best catfish I've had! Fried Pork Chops were amazing too! Did I mention the Church Tea (Jesus not included)???Food: 5/5

This is the best fried chicken I've ever had! I absolutely love all the side dishes as well. It's the first restaurant where I can honestly say that. The greens and mac and cheese are the best in Lexington. Food rating: 5/5.

Delicious! Just like home--Mine and Mom 's! Crispy Fried pork chop, perfectly sweetened yams, tasty Mac 'n cheese, and Cornbread Ho cakes. Will definitely visit again next time in Lexington!Food: 5/5

I went here for the first time for burger week. Wow! The burger was hands down the BEST!!! The food was incredible! The staff were so sweet and friendly!! Will 100% be back soon!Food: 5/5
