The Netflix food looks and tastes better on TV. The Netflix special plate was lack luster in flavor and appeal. Unbalanced combination of flavors. Chef’s MP tacos were salty with a thick layer of cheese, homemade what was salty chorizo and pickled purple onions were past pickled salty. Refried beans for some reason had a sour taste. The green looking rice was missing flavor but had a dry texture. There must have been a miscommunication between the chef and the person instructed to prepare the Netflix Chef taco plate special. Today the MP translated to Mystery Product. I was not able to finish the dish due to the saltiness.Potato Flautas good but the hogadas sauce was overly spicy for someone...
Came here for lunch after reading about this place in the Eaters 2021 38 best restaurants in DFW. The location is understated from the outside with a small parking lot for valet parking only. Once inside, it’s fairly minimalistic too except for the bar, which is beautifully lined with top shelf liquors. Food was nicely presented, but the chicken enchilada with mole sauce, which came highly recommended by our server was only lukewarm. The habanero carrot soup had a very complex taste that’s hard to pinpoint, but tasty without the pepper overpowering the pallet.
We went for dinner on a Saturday, about 9:00PM. The place was packed, high energy, good music, pleasant ambiance. Our server, Eric, was super knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. The cocktails were good and strong. I especially liked the Guava Mule. The food was hit and miss. Our cold apps came out as they should, we especially liked the coconut ceviche and the elote. The main plates came out less than hot. The short rib enchiladas were surprisingly bland. Overall a decent experience, I would give it another shot.
The food looked gorgeous but was often under seasoned. Everything was very good but for us it did not live up to the hype. Saying that, we will come back for a second chance! Maybe an odd night cause I believe looking at the food that it should be top notch. Service was great. The atmosphere was a little clubby for us (dance/techno music) but although loud it was never an impediment to conversation. The decor was beautiful. Would highly recommend for a 1st/2nd date night.

It was me and my family for the first time in Jose and we had a fantastic dinner. All we ordered from the appetizers to dessert was hot, fresh and tasteful. We ordered several cocktails in the evening because they all recommend the witch doctor and strawberry Colada. Our server, Carlos, was super friendly and really understood the menu I appreciated very much. We will definitely come back!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing restaurant. I have been a huge fan of Anastasia ever since she helped with a private dinner in my home that was spectacular. The carnitas are my fave and it’s a great spot for large gatherings, fun brunches and events. My kids love it and the staff is always wonderful. Highly recommend!
Had 3pm reservations on a Saturday afternoon. Valet was quick and there was a table available upon arrival. Our server was prompt with introducing himself and supplying chips and salsa. Cocktails, appetizers, and entrees were at the table in a timely manner. Positive experience throughout.Food: 4/5
Excellent food, very quick and attentive service. Fun ambience and decor. Great drinks. Were done with apps, dinner and dessert in about 1 hour.

jose never disappoints. great cocktails! also love the Mexican shrimp cocktail.
Lovely food. Excellent choices for our vegetarian friends.
