The change of ownership has not worked well for this restaurant. We went on a tuesday night when the HPB Constant restaurant was shut. I would have expected it to have been heaving but it was very sparsely patronised. Service was patchy. Starters were quite good. For main courses the langoustines were OK although the risotto was not wonderful and the rest of the accompaniments somehow didn't quite hang together. Two deserts were good. One was uneatable a so called citron tart that was more like an undercooked biscuit with a thin layer of lemon on top, Shame really. The village needs a good restaurant. We had a significant birthday cum wedding celebration at Le Saint Felix on 10 July 2016 for 31 guests mainly arriving from Europe and overseas, organised and coordinated from afar, which was a tremendous success. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and the staff...went to extraordinary lengths to make the occasion a memorable one. Aperitifs and canapes in the garden followed by a sit down meal in the cool of the restaurant were the perfect setting. The celebratory cake display was a finale with a flourish! This restaurant appears to have changed its name from Jour de Fete. We had not been for several years as we had previously had a very ordinary meal. Recently, however we dropped in for lunch were very surprised at the improvement. The value of the 4 course lunch including wine was excellent In recent years we prefer to lunch out not to have to drive in the dark so this was a great find. Of course it still does evening meals but we would recommend their set lunch, which is available in 3 levels, to everyone

we had a very nice dinner (can recommend the calf). the place was not busy on a Thursday in the fairytale, which could explain the change of property soon. a scandal that was eating was very good and service was good.
Eric doesn't seem cold at first, but it all hides a beautiful kitchen of chef Isabelle, a treat! Thank you so much for this beautiful evening.

A simple but warm place! People with little care, and excellent seasonal cuisine! Very eager to come back, I highly recommend!
