Journey to Everest is a clash of Indian and Nepalese food, which is always a delight. I got the Beef Rendang and Cheese Naan. The rendang was lovely - it was the right amount of spice that sent me sweating! The cheese naan was good as well, it was nice seeing the cheese actually in the process of melting when it was presented. I got the mango lassi as well - which was an interesting version of your usual lassi - it was significantly more sour than the usual sweetness that you'd expect. I'm not sure if it was the quality of mango used or some other factor but I loved that it wasn't overdosed in sugar.  Overall, the food was good, but I had a few issues with the place - firstly the porti...

I know there are different takes on Saag curries. I prefer the pureed spinach variety - thick and 'army-man' green. This one was mild and creamy (a bit watery) with some green leaves floating around in it. I asked for a bit of extra heat when I ordered but I think they forgot. The beef was full of gristle, which I decided not to digest. I had to ask for serviettes and plastic cutlery for my takeaway. Glad I checked. It would have been very annoying if I got the park bench and had to go back again. Mains are a couple of bucks more than the other Indian joints in the area. But this place is only a short walk from my house, so I will almost certainly go there again to try the other dishes (next...

My wife and I had dinner there recently, and the food was very good without being exceptional. We had saffron chicken tikka for entrees and the jaffna goat and eggplant curries for the mains. Prices were quite reasonable, particularly with the Entertainment Card. The service, however, was a let down. I'm not sure if it was a lack of training or just poor attitude, but our waitress gave the feeling that she wanted to be elsewhere. We gave up waiting for the dessert menu and I took a couple from the next table. If nothing else, the restaurant is very convenient to the Odeon Cinema, so we will very likely give it another go. We called during the week - Walked in off the street. It was quiet and comfortable. Service was very friendly and attentive. The curries had a very good spice balance. The chilli level was very light for my taste, but I'm sure they'd boost it a bit if you asked - they provided me with a chilli paste to give a more 'Sri Lankan' feel to the Jaffna Goat Curry.A great and relaxed 'local'

Such honest, good quality food. I've been here multiple times and had their dal palak, palak paneer, chicken tikka, eggplant and lamb (so tender) curry. The garlic naan is amazing too! Service is just as you would expect from a family run business- extremely welcoming. A must try if you're in the mood for Nepalese food down this side of town.

We shared a range of curries - goat, seafood and beef plus some palak paneer, naan, rice and condiments. Couldn't have been happier, the food was delightful and the service friendly and attentive. No hesitation in recommending, especially to those who enjoy an authentic dining experience.

Went for dinner with two other people. Entree was a little small. We then shared Himalayan Goat, Chili Chicken and Fish Curry. Were all very nice, as was the rice, raita and naan. Service was good. Okay value for money. We would go back again. Reserva una mesa ahora

The meal, the staff were excellent. I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of the meals. Now down Semaphore rd to try and walk off some of the calories. Oh yeah g/f choices
