aution: this eating is extremely sweet. the little cup rita tasted as if she had a full **** in it. I had to blow it out. I'm Indian and this food really didn't do it for me. if your first time indian food is tried and you don't enjoy it, please give him another try somewhere else. idk if there is a Gujarati style place (I know Gujarati food is in the usually sweeter / not my cup tea), but it was not advertised as such. the Gobi Appetizer was ok, but not really Indian. (child like a general tso’s cauliflower.) the saag paneer was literally not edible for me. it tasted like a coward. never again.

We used Joy Indian Restaurant for our catering and our guests LOVED the food. We had a Bengali wedding and they catered to my mom's specifically Bengali items. Abu, the owner, was extremely professional and accommodating to all our changes. He checked inwith our venue and truly created an incredible catering experience for our guests. We loved every dish and I'm super thankful toreceive so many compliments for the food. Thank you Abu

This restaurant has the best Indian food in NYC by far! I enjoy Indian cuisine and find it to be very delicious and fulfilling. One dish in particular that I enjoy from here is the vegetable korma with a side of butter naan; Literally will have your mouth water! The waitress is super friendly as well. Anyone looking to try Indian food need to give this place a shot!

This place literally made my day! The food was perfection! Super flavorful with the perfect kick of spice and the stuffed naan is seriously the best bread I?ve ever had. Not only is the food great, but also the prices are so good especially for thequality and size and the workers are angels. This will be my new go to Indian spot :

Eating here was truly a joy. We had the tangy gobi, mattar paneer, and malai kofta each was mouthwatering and the perfect level of flavor and spice. The food was prepared quickly and our server Prema was wonderful. Overall amazing food, excellentservice, and cozy atmosphere a true hidden gem that everyone must try.

I’ve experienced Indian Dining all around NYC and left underwhelmed most times. Joy of India has been the best Indian meal I’ve had in NYC! This place certainly meets expectations! Trying the palak chicken next time.
