Today, we had a craving for Thai food and decided to try something new. The Joy of Thai is one of three similar restaurants in the area, located on the south side of 179th road just east of Wolf Road. It's in a small strip shopping center with two other businesses. We pass by it all the time, but had never tried it before. Our previous experiences at other Thai restaurants in the area had left us unsatisfied. Our visit to The Joy of Thai was a pleasant surprise. We ordered pork fried rice and pineapple fried rice, a sweet dish. I hope this restaurant never goes out of business! I have lived in the Mokena area for most of my life, and this restaurant is the best in the area. Their fried rice is amazing, and the basil chicken and mini spring rolls are fantastic every time I go. Even my boyfriend enjoyed everything! The staff is also very friendly.

Absolutely the best Thai food we've ever had, it was all amazing! We ordered 6 different entrees as it was our 1st time at this restaurant. We loved every single dish and the mango St ky rice was perfect! The owner Joy was wonderful. We'll be back many times as this is our favorite Thai Restaurant!!

This restaurant in the southwestern outskirts serves the best Thai food around! The dishes are authentic, reasonably priced, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it! The food is excellent and of top quality. This place is a must-visit! Reserva una mesa ahora

Several customers have rated this restaurant 4-5 stars, but my personal experience has been just average on both visits. The Tom Yum soup was decent and the service was great.
