I booked a weekend high tea for family lunch but my expectation was quite low after reading some mediocre reviews on Tripadvisor. The main complaint from Tripadvisor was the unprofessional and incompetent service that didn’t match star rating of the hotel. For some reason I felt the need to purchase the most expensive burger on the menu. I've never paid almost $30 for a burger in my life, but it's a hotel bar and prices are deliberately inflated to exploit international tourists in order for our country to maintain a sustainable prosperous economy - so it was time to make my contribution and support the service industry that carries all of us! The MOOD & INTERIOR of the place is quite futuristic with European influences - it is Swiss after all, even my burger had Swiss cheese! The booths are quite high so you've got total privacy which are ideal for corporate lunch meetings, dates, secret affairs and any intimate rendesvouz.THE AUSTRA...

Mi esposo y yo estábamos en Swissotel por nuestro aniversario y, por supuesto, tuvimos que probar la cafetería en la planta baja. Gran servicio al cliente y servir rápidamente. La cafetería tenía interior moderno. Nuestros amigos y yo también disfrutamos de un buffet de alto té y solo amamos la comida y las bebidas sin restricciones. En particular, me encantó todos los postres de chocolate que sirviste. Definitivamente volveré a este lugar.
My husband and I stayed at Swissotel for our anniversary and naturally we had to try the cafe downstairs. Great customer service and were quick to serve. The cafe had modern interiors. Our friends and I also enjoyed a high tea buffet and we just loved the food and unlimited drinks. I most especially loved all the chocolate desserts they served. I will definitely come back to this place.
I believe this high tea menu was only for the holiday xmas season. But it's worth going if it's on!! I can't think of anything wrong or negative from my experience .. service was attentive and polite, and the food was great with options in a buffet such as meat pies, pavlovas, and an extensive range of made-to-order T2 tea. If it weren't so expensive I'd go back frequently!

Creo que este menú de alto té fue solo para la Navidad de Navidad. ¡Pero vale la pena cuando está más lejos! No puedo imaginar nada malo o negativo de mi experiencia. El servicio fue atento y educado, y la comida fue excelente con posibilidades en un buffet como pastel de carne, Pavlowas y un extenso surtido de té T2 TE TE TE. Si no fuera tan caro, ¡a menudo volvería!
Been here for high tea twice and both times they had run out of scones! Who has a high tea without scones? Not a huge variety on offer here. There are better options in the city for a similar price point.
The ambience is nice though.
