Jr's Gourmet Burgers was recommended to us by a friend who claimed the burgers were the best in Miami. We came in right around opening time and were seated near the many accolades hanging on the wall, we knew good food was on its way. The owner was kind enough to come out and introduce himself to us, and immediately recommended the home made fried mac and cheese balls...wow. They were perfectly crisp on the outside while maintaining the creaminess of macaroni and cheese on the inside. Went to Jr’s for the first time ever and was greeted by Mikey. He was so nice and welcoming and really helped us pick the best burgers. We really bugged him with a lot of questions, but he answered all of them patiently and enthusiastically. You can tell he really loves what he does! Because it was a random Tuesday afternoon, we also had the amazing luck of having Mikey also be our chef! Quite literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried in my life (Burger The Beast). But what really made the whole experience come full circle was how awesome Mikey was with us from start to finish. Great place. Definitely recommend.
I enjoyed her burgers at the Burger Beast Hamburger House Party, and they have always been fantastic. I'm really happy I finally visited her restaurant. The burgers were just as juicy and delicious as I remembered. I ordered the three-slider combo, which allowed me to pick from a selection. I chose the Valley, Acosta, and Tex Mex sliders. I also tried the Outside In Burger, Big Daddy Burger, and macaroni and cheese balls. Everything was excellent!
Excellent food, excellent service! Against my initial beef burger desire I was convinced to try a limited time turkey burger (in honor of Thanksgiving), and was completely impressed with their creation. I had lunch with a friend, and it was our first visit to the restaurant. We really enjoyed exploring the menu, especially the variety of exotic burger options. They also have a selection of craft beers. Our lunch experience was fantastic, and we will definitely be returning!
