Jr's Jamaican Jerk#2 (calumet Park)

This has to be the nasty unauthentic Jamaican cuisine I've ever had. This is by no means authentic and it's simply nasty! They called several times to say the didn't have any of the selections I chose to only send nothing they stated they had. The chicken was dry and burned, the yams definitely came from a can and if I could give them a negative review for the Mac n cheese I would. This was not macaroni but the mac n cheese that comes with the powder sauce that is activated by water. The jerk sauce looked like cinnamon apples sauce or some type of chutney. I am simply upset and I'm not sure why they are still in business! This meal was something I wouldn't feed my animals!

absolutely a terrible experience. I bought a ruck dinner dark, my carol and makkaroni were spoiled. my chicken was not fresh, taste as if I was served from the day before. you could see that huh and see if not fresh, not taste good. which was so unhappy, they just opened. my daughter had a jerk salad and there was a bug in her salat. she didn't want to eat all day after. I wanted to take my entire purchase back there, but the customer service is terrible, I hadn't gotten anywhere.

Disappointed: I've tried their jerk pasta over a month ago and it didn't taste authentic waterd down flavorless, so I decided to try their white jerk chicken dinner and it was awful the chicken seasoning wasn't jerk, it was bone dry, mac-cheese tasted stove top cooked no signature flavor, cabbage to soften no flavor.I love real Authentic Caribbean food this here taste like regular American prepared blend food. ?

The mac and cheese and red beans and rice were excellent. Unfortunately, the catfish didn't meet expectations; some pieces had a strong, unpleasant taste and similar texture, while others were overcooked and tasted very fishy. The woman at the front seemed unfriendly, and even though I ordered before others, they were served before me. I’m giving it 2 stars for the mac and cheese and red beans and rice, though. I called in asked for half mixed. The call taker said 15 minutes. I get there I wait another 20 minutes while the handful cook that's cutting up the meat walks from the back texting to then go back to the back and continue to text while I wait for my food. I will never ever eat here again in life. I've given them several try's with the same results. The restaurant smells terrible also clean the rug pleas.

I had a delightful surprise during my last visit here. The cabbage and the carrots were delicious, and the chicken was juicy. I highly recommend visiting, especially if you can go earlier in the day. The young lady who served me was pleasant and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian dishes were tasty, but there were only side options available, and not everything listed on the menu was offered. Kid-friendliness: This isn’t the best place for kids. Parking: There is parking available, and it is relatively ample for the size of the restaurant.

Was in the mood for Brown Stew Chicken. They have great Brown Stew Chicken and really good sides. The jerk chicken was also good but u went for the Brown Stew Chicken and was very happy with my meals

Chicken had no taste/seasoning, and the jerk sauce tasted sour like it was made with a lot vinegar!
