I’m really saddened to learn that J&S has closed its doors. Their pizza has been the soundtrack to my life, and I have such wonderful memories of enjoying a J&S pie along with a Mountain Dew from the time I was 10 all the way into adulthood. It might sound strange, but the closure of J&S feels somewhat like a loss to me. I’m truly grateful for all the times I got to chat with the staff and savor their delicious pizza. Anyone have their recipe?
Absolutely the best pizza in New York! I’m so lucky that it’s just five minutes from my home. The crust is perfect, and the cheese is amazing and always fresh. The owners are truly wonderful people. I love you guys! Coming back here regularly after Covid has been such a therapeutic experience for me on so many levels.
The only time I ever saw my dad cry was when I told him that J's was closed. I flew home for the holidays, and as soon as I drove back from JFK, my first priority was to call and place my order. I wanted to surprise my parents with the pizza that shaped my childhood. The community will never be the same!

I grew up eating their pizza and just returned for the first time in over 20 years. It was just as I remembered from my childhood. This was the best slice of pizza I've had in a long time. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service as well.
I'm really saddened to see them close their doors. I'll miss Joey and Gaspo; they were truly genuine individuals. I've been a regular there for over 20 years, and they will definitely be missed.
I haven't visited this place in years, and the food is just as delicious as I remember. I'll definitely be coming back more often because there's nothing quite like authentic Sicilian cuisine!
