The galbi and chan were intricate, but I ultimately found a traditional galbi with banchan to be much more satisfying than this "refined" interpretation. Above all, I longed for a steaming bowl of rice to accompany my meal. Some dishes felt more European than Korean, and if I wanted fish cooked in olive oil and tomatoes, I would choose a Mediterranean restaurant rather than a Korean one. While the fish was certainly a testament to culinary skill, it felt out of place, akin to an artist showcasing intricate shark anatomy in a forest painting. It’s unfortunate, too, because it was one of the finest pieces of fish I've ever tasted. There must be a way to ground this dish more in its Korean orig...
Every bite was bursting with thoughtfully crafted flavors. The chef’s vision was clear through the beautifully paired and balanced ingredients, offering a mellow take that contrasts traditional bold Korean tastes. Dining here felt like experiencing a story—what an incredible journey! We loved the first dish so much, we even ordered it twice, haha. The service was warm and genuine, never pretentious. The decor was earthy and understated, which worked well as a simple backdrop to highlight the food. I highly, highly recommend this place!
Jua continues to impress! This was our second visit, and once again, Jua showcased a creative and modern twist on Korean dishes. The Caviar Kim remains a fan favorite, and we decided to try the Uni Kim add-on, which I must say was my favorite dish. The Jook was ideal for the rainy weather, and the Galbi with its toppings complemented it perfectly. To top it all off, the Goguma Juak (ice cream and donut) was a delightful way to end the meal. I highly recommend this place; the entire dining experience was fantastic!

Wonderful high end Korean cuisine. The caviar kim and jook with abalone (abalone is a supplement to the jook) were my favorite dishes. The strawberry sorbet was so fresh too. But my even my somewhat picky parents were happy with every dish. Good tea selections. Went for my birthday and I’m very happy with everything. Made the birthday dinner great.
Wow, believe the hype, this was an amazing food experience all around. The best Jook I’ve ever tasted (and I’ve BEEN to Korea). Every dish had so many layers to it, you’d wait 20 seconds and then taste something completely fresh and different like That Ratatouille scene. RUN do not walk to this restaurant.
Everything was delicious and glad that we added the uni and Korean abalone for the jook (rice porridge/congee). My favorites are caviar Kim, jook, kalbi chan, and the branzino. Wish they have more selection of makgeollei while the two I tried are lovely! Reserva una mesa ahora
