I booked for 20 people and the staff were so helpful and the booking was really easy (as compared to many other places in Oxford that seemed to shy away from larger groups! There was no deposit and I received an email confirmation. The food is basic pub grub as normal with a Green King pub and most people in our group were happy with the choices though it wasn 't flexible, you couldn 't mix and match and had to have what was on the menu. For instance, one person wanted to avoid carbs by having salad rather than rice with a dish, but that wasn 't possible (I would have thought that was a simple change to make . Felt compelled to write to say what superb service we had when we popped in for a drink and something to eat. Will and the other guy (sorry we didn’t catch their name) behind the bar could not have been more helpful, friendly and offered just a fantastic service. Watched them both interact with other customers demonstrated that they are really skilled at their jobs and were super friendly with everyone. Was a pleasure to be here and will definitely be back again

We had a great time here! The staff was welcoming and friendly, they even brought water and biscuits for our dog. The food was just perfect and the atmosphere made our evening, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves. We will be back very soon!

Had a very enjoyable meal here with 11 friends recently. The only downside was the rugby on the tv and very loud cheering etc. Didn’t know it was a SPORTS hub! Caitlin was lovely and served us very well. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had an amazing experience! All the staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Fantastic food and good vibes all round. There were many regulars which as an out of towner tells a lot about the place.

Lovely little spot just out of the centre of Oxford if you enjoy a quieter drink. Would highly recommend to anyone in the city or passing through. 5 stars from me!
