We held the annual Christmas lunch of the Coutances Anglophone Association at Jules Gommes last year. It was, to put it simply, an unforgettable event. From the arrival we were treated like honoured guests. We enjoyed a pre-meal drink and nibbles in the cosy and intimate bar. Then through to the charming restaurant, complete with crackling log fire. The food was delicious and all freshly prepared, with in-season local ingredients taking pride of place. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all 30-odd members, and is still talked of, in fact we intend to book again for this year if possible. We visit this restaurant several times each year and have lunch, dinner and sometimes just a drink there. It serves great seafood and also gallettes and crepes. The meat dishes are also delicious. The setting is comfortable and relaxed, overlooking the harbour at regneville. I guess this is the first review because others have wanted to keep it secret!

Living nearby, this is one of our regular restaurants. They have fixed price menus, which don 't change very often and an excellent a la carte. Lunchtimes they have a plat du jour at reasonable price. The staff are always very friendly and will speak english if you prefer.

Have eaten here several times and the food is always good, the restaurant and bar are cosy, service is good. A good choice.

Very nice place with very good food. Good service and wonderful location. Definitely recommended for a couple.
