What can one say but how much this place resembles Hollywood itself metaphorically. The exterior view is very charming and inviting just as the photos imply yet just like Hollywood, behind the scenes it does nothing but disappoint in true quality. From the very poor selection of pastries that appear to have seen better days, literally, in the cabinet of the 'dine in ' side of the café to the many unbussed tables outside still littered with various food scraps and trash items apparently too meaningless to be cleaned away in any timely fashion by the staff. I visited this charming little restaurant on Sunday and absolutely loved everything about it. My parents lived in the neighborhood back in 1959 when it was the San Marino Market. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. However, I would recommend skipping the frame and home decor store next door on the east side of the restaurant. I had an unpleasant experience there with a very uptight woman. While the items inside were beautiful, it felt like they didn’t want anyone to shop there. When I reached out to touch the texture of a vase, I was reprimanded in a rude tone that I hadn't heard since childhood! Such an exquisite night! Their Thursday night Wine Dinners are really wonderful! An intimate, quiet dinner paired with delicious wines made special by the gorgeous patio you sit in. Very romantic unique) setting. You feel less like you are in a restaurant, and more like you are dining at someone's beautiful home in France. Julie and her team make you feel at home and deliver a memorable night.

Fabulous!! You can now sit outside with beautiful plates and glasses. Order and you will still get the wonderful service!! I have loved this perfect restaurant for over 25 years! Service was unacceptable. Food was mediocre. Ambiance was good, except for loud cackling from table next to us. They sold us a food product that was expired by over four months. I have going there for several years, and this is likely my last visit.

Do you want to buy a 12.00 cookie that's hard as a rock? Come to Julienne. I was shocked to pay 20.00 for a hard cookie and iced tea. The tea was great but I so regretted buying that cookie.
