While I enjoy the smell of roasted coffee beans, I usually only consume caffeine in small amounts found in good quality dark chocolate, as recommended by Dr. Andrew Weil. Julie's offers a variety of hot drinks, including coffee, espresso, tea lattes, and hot chocolate, as well as iced drinks like iced tea and iced coffee. They also have unique specialty drinks such as ginger lemon brew, kombucha, and lavender lemonade. In addition to beverages, Julie's also serves food with a menu perfect for brunch. They use organic, locally grown ingredients and offer many vegan and gluten-free options. I tried the Vitality Latte with oat milk and no honey, topped with cinnamon, as well as an organic vega...

The scone at this cafe was incredibly fresh, making all other scones I've had seem dry in comparison. It had the perfect balance of crisp edges and a soft center, and I particularly enjoyed the chocolate orange flavor. The chai latte was also well-balanced, with just the right amount of chai flavor and milk. My order was brought out quickly after I placed it. I sat in the garden patio with my book, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. As more people arrived after 9am, the cafe became a hub of conversation, but it still seemed like a great spot for some quiet time if you arrive early. The cafe has plenty of seating and shade, making it a great place to meet up for breakfast or brunch. The tranqu...
Parking is hard so prepare to be patient! Oh my where to start!! I had a delicious fruit toast with a lavender latte. Its the first time i have a lavender latte that tastes balanced. Usually they are very heavy with the lavender but it was delicious. The cashier was kind to recommend it with my toast and it was yummy. There is a patio in the back that has a cute back yard at grandma's house vibe in the best way. It was covered and shady but we still got a little sun. Tons of places to sit and relax. Service was quick and excellent, and I love how environmentally friendly they are!
I love the green ambiance inside and outside the shop. Though there aren’t that many vegan options, they are each delicious and clearly marked on the menu. My favourite things to order are the sweet potato hummus and bread along with a lavender lemonade. The chia pudding is also the best, due to the seasonal fruits. Sometimes I even take home a little plant from the shop! Updated from previous review on 2021-07-26 Reserva una mesa ahora
I recently spent $45 on two sandwiches at this restaurant, one of which I paid an extra $6 to have chicken added to. Unfortunately, the sandwich that was supposed to have chicken was missing it. This experience was unacceptable, especially considering the difficulty of finding parking in the area. I was unable to go back to address the issue. This is the result of my effort to support a small business.
We hosted a party at this restaurant and the staff was very accommodating in preparing an all vegan menu. Everyone loved the food, including the non-vegans! I would give it five stars if I could, even though it's not exclusively a vegan spot. I returned for lunch recently and was pleased to find 2-3 vegan options and 2-3 vegan pastries available.
I visited this coffee shop twice while staying in Alameda. I enjoyed a delicious oat milk latte and was pleasantly surprised to see several vegan bakery options. I tried a slice of the scrumptious carrot walnut cake and was very pleased. The staff were friendly and attentive.
really yummy vegan goods in the window and very cute garden in the back: they also have vegan breakfast and lunch items. you can also purchase from a grand selection of teas (they have matcha for $5!! Reserva una mesa ahora
