Visit for early supper with family, had Thai chili burger; burger is suppose to have habanero cheese and spicy Thai mayo. Burger was served with no cheese and regular mayo. Fries on plate were also horrible, similar to ones that had sat ard for a significant time and were possibly deep fried a second time, overcooked, dried out/ crudly would best describe them. Everybody at table had same is with fries, they were simply horrible. Friend had grilled chicken guacamole burger; burger was fried/baked so long the friend could not bite through chicken without trying to forcefully tear off. Our waiter/waitress always are so nice and polite at this location, the nachos I can't complain about, they are always so good! Alcoholic Drinks are on&off, I find some you can tell there is liquor in it, others you question if they forgot it, that could either be a sign of a very excellent drink, or they are cutting back the alcohol they put into the actual drink, but you will never know which it is. Next their fountain drinks taste watered down, and their lemons for the water have a terrible taste, so bad I had to stop asking for the lemons because it was ruining the water. We went to Jungle Jim's restaurant in Bay Roberts for lunch one day. The staff was attentive and the food came quickly. The decor is typical of this type of "theme" restaurant. It was, as the name implies, jungley.... But not oppressively so. Lot's of bamboo etc. The food was good; about what one would expect. Typical fare for this type of restaurant. One disappointment was that anything that had cheese on the menu, came with processed cheese. This is stated on the menu, but I would much rather have the real thing. Now, an argument can be made that I shouldn't make a fuss about processed food if I'm going to eat french fries which are also unhealthy. But hey, they taste good. Processed chees...
We went to jungle jims for my birthday. They seems very understaffed. We were waiting quite a while to be seated. Only one person was available and she was talking to a customer doing take out on the phone. Once seated the waiter was very friendly and tried very had to please us. However the our orders took a very long time to arrive. He said it was because of the steak I had ordered. However if that was the case why was my steak cold when eveything else on my plate was hot. My wife ordered a medium steak and it was very rare. They offered her another one, and because of this and other problems they did not charge here for her meal. Server was great! Burger was good, fries were over done and grease soaked. I didn't eat them. I always have the same drink at every Jungle Jims, this place only added an orange for garnish, it's usually an orange, cherry and an umbrella. But drink tasted the same as always. Fries were overcooked last couple times I went there, they really need to improve on that.
My husband and I ordered breakfast , waited for an hour ! There were only two other tables there at the time. No coffee was offered, our orders weren't what we ordered , bread wasn't toasted! It was not a good experience! Won't be back for breakfast . A&W serves much better breakfast
Went in early for supper got seated right away....ordered Nachos ....made awesome! Server was great!! my pepsi was almost empty and she refilled it before it was empty. Had a Steak was cooked to perfection Fries were a little overcooked, by far the best Jungle around!!
Jungle Jims is my daughters favourite. We eat there as a family quite a bit. They have a lot of choice and the prices are moderate. Great place for families with children.

We had supper here while staying in the area. Service was polite and prompt. Food was good and is standard road style fare. Prices are reasonable
My husband and I enjoy Jungle Jims because of their variety, service and food. We were there today to enjoy an Easter meal.
