We were extremely disappointed with our experience at the restaurant last night. We had family visiting and had made a reservation for Friday evening for 4 adults and a baby. Upon arrival, there was no one to greet us and show us to our table. We had to search for it ourselves and found our name and reservation time on the table. Despite requesting a highchair when booking, one was not prepared at the table. Due to a busy bar, we decided to order food and drinks through the QR code/app instead of waiting in line. Had not been to the justinlees in a long time so thought I would give it a try again, the decor and ambience in the pub are very good and the servers that served us our meal are very polite, sadly that's where it stops the food is mediocre and the service is very slow, there were plenty of tables when we went so the pub was nowhere near full capacity yet it took ages for a sharing nacho platter to come out and the same for our main and dessert, my chicken was dry and the peas that were served were straight out a can withought being warmed at all. I have visited Justinlees a few times since the new General Manager took charge, and I am happy to report that things have improved. The restaurant is now cleaner, the service is better, and the quality of food has also been upgraded. I must give credit where credit is due, especially after my previous negative reviews. A big thank you to the team for their efforts in turning things around. Well done!
I Apparantly ordered the recommended burger according to the menu, I would hate to see the others. When I handed it back asking for my refund I was told I was rude. Food was awful and had to clear the table to make room for kids desserts . Noticed other people having to clear tables before they could sit down . Staff however were lovely but due to minimal staff they just couldn’t do everything . Management need to have more staff on shift .
