JW Steakhouse offers a lovely upscale dining atmosphere with spacious seating between tables and a nice cloakroom service a special touch. On our recent dinner visit, the food choices appealingly ranged from quality steaks to burgers to seafood. I opted for the steak with peppercorn sauce, cooked precisely to my preference of medium rare. My wife enjoyed her burger, which came with a side of sweet potato fries included in the price an unexpected bonus. I went for a family dinner to celebrate the holiday season. I thought the food was OK, my steak was good, lobster cold and my son’s ribeye undercooked. The service was average. We had to call for the waiter versus being waited on. My husband enjoyed the bourbon cart and the selection that the bar had. Maybe it was an off night, but not sure that I would be back. There are too many good restaurants in London to dine at a slightly above average one.

VERY loud! Ok if you don’t want a conversation! Food average, apart from cannelloni which was really disgusting! Service was overall really lovely apart from the wine waiter not topping us up (which was fine as we didn’t mind doing it ourselves), except whenever we did it he would rush over and take over making a song and dance over it.
