So awful! Ordered a thaali to take away, the daar came in a chutney pot! My 4 year old finished it in 3 spoons. Must have a very small heart due to their Very small Portions. Aloo papdi chaat was also very unimpressive. Not authentic at all. Channa curry on papdis? I don’t think these guys know North Indian cuisine. The guy serving was evidently one of the owners. Struggled to crack a smile or make pilot conversation. Appeared to be either arrogant or bored. Either way not a positive experience at all. Interesting how there were several Jamie Oliver cuttings and posters all over the walls. Maybe to overcome denial of the awfulness of the food??
Instead of ordering from the menu we asked for a vegan meal for two. Well! This is may not be a lavish place to eat, but the food is outstanding. Every dish was superb and well thought out. Thoroughly delicious, even my non vegan husband ate from every dish and really enjoyed it. Lots of food, good portion size, and served by someone who clearly enjoyed their work. Nice clean restaurant, take your own alcohol, and well priced food. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
We visited this place with a few friends for Sunday lunch and I must say that the food was amazing! Authentic home cooked food. The food wasn’t greasy like usual Indian places and the rotis, poori and Channa were out of the world. The service was also good and the owners accommodated all our needs. Memorable visit and we certainly will return soon.
This is only my third visit since October and I am a hooked new customer. My partner has been visiting your restaurant (in various locations) for 30 years and is also a regular visitor. We both love the Masala Dosa plus all the other delicous foods you offer. We left feeling sated and very happy with everything. See you soon !!!
