The actual restaurant is on the second floor, I wasn't able to ask if there's an elevator. Walking in, I thought I knew what to expect. It was around 6 PM, we are the first to arrive and are seated by the hostess. She apologizes about the menu not being laminated or the proper one she ordered. Okay, no problem. I had questions about the hot pot and the BBQ, it was my first time here. I was told I should have read the menu. Not rude, but not exactly worded nicely. I am a huge fan of Korean bbq. I love k factory, 678 and 9292 bbq. So thought I would take my family try out this new business. It’s $30 all you can eat, however ages 4-8 is half price (as so they said . We went a family of 6. 2 of them are ages 10 and 7. So I thought my 7years old would be half off. The bill came out $180 not mentioning anything about tips being added so I had cash ready for their tips. I questioned them why wasn’t my 7yrs old wasnt half off. They said they would refund us $15 (which they never did . They came back charging us $223 and said that includes tips. So I went with 3 people wr seated ourselves from we walked in. When ordering this is what gets me, we t asked if we could order seperate they said no, so basically forced us to order 4 all you can eat for $143.99 . But all we got was meat for one person all u can eat it wasn't 4 people plated food and that's what we paid for since we couldn't order separately. Then when we were ready to pay member they didn't do nothing but take the order and bring the meat. I left a cash tip on my table and the lady got mad. I explained you made a 100 by have us force to buy 4 ayce but only gave meat as if I was by myself. I do not recommend this place fro t he attitude of what I fell to tip and she got mad...
The meat selection is the same as other Korean AYCE. Their hotpot has very few choice of vegetables! Some food are not fresh. Kimchi and spicy pork taste tainted today. Service is fair. The waitress doesn’t take empty plates timely and she never checks if we need more water in our hotpot. I will never go to this restaurant again. It is Wednesday today. Food was ok. Service was horrible. The asian lady looked frustrated even when we explained it was our first time. No napkins until the end of the service. No checking on us. We had 3 different people that didn’t even know who the server was. The first lady never came back when we told her my friend wasn’t gonna eat, she said we had to pay for her anyway. Bad, bad, bad. Save time and money by not coming here
Compared to all the other Korean BBQ places in the Duluth area, this one isn’t horrible for all you can eat BBQ and hotpot. The topping bar is well assorted as well as having good side dishes such as Kimchi fried rice, good banchan, and a fully loaded topping bar. You order your meat through a sheet of paper and they bring it out to you in a timely manner. Overall a good experience.
