I had an outstanding dining experience at Kebab House in Boardman, Ohio! This charming locally owned Mediterranean Turkish restaurant offers simple yet incredibly elegant dishes that left me impressed. The service was top-notch, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with amazing energy throughout. Their handcrafted kebab plates were absolutely delicious, and the Turkish desserts, coffee, and tea were nothing short of spectacular. I couldn't resist trying everything, and it was all reasonably priced. What stood out the most was the owner's warm hospitality. You guys.... After reading the reviews, we were so excited to come here! We were not disappointed! Immediately after walking through the doors, we were greeted by the owner who walked us to our table. We were served with delicious lentil soup right away. The atmosphere was beautiful and smelled so clean. The owner came over and gave his recommendations on dinner and soon enough we were served with the best Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. We ordered Turkish coffee and rice pudding and custard, everything was amazing!!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Delicious! I ordered the meat platter, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. The lentil soup served when you sit down was so good that I could have eaten an entire bowl of it. One thing I noticed was that my chicken skewers were a bit fatty for chicken breast. Nevertheless, the food was flavorful, and the portions were just right. The prices are also reasonable. And don’t miss out on the Turkish coffee—I left feeling energized and ready to run laps! The staff was incredibly friendly, and I will definitely be coming back.
Everything was great. Service even better. We're from Akron and it was a convenient place in the middle to meet a friend from Pittsburgh. We never even looked at a menu. They asked us a few questions about some of the things we liked and we trusted them to bring us out food that would match our answers. They did a phenomenal job and everything tasted great. At the end of our meal, we tried Turkish coffee for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for conversation; it felt very relaxed and welcoming, and we never felt rushed. When we were finished, we simply paid at the counter. As for dietary needs, people on gluten-free and dairy-free diets can dine here without any issues. Plus, it's a kid-friendly place as well!
There really wasn't a menu, waiter asked what we liked, we were served chx and beef kabobs with salad and rice. Delicious! Never really liked hummus until I tried the Kabab House homemade hummus, it was a great addition to the meal. Rice pudding and baklava for desert. Would have liked waiter to bring us water instead of getting a plastic bottle, which cheapened the dining experience. Service: Dine in
