I was looking for a local Middle Eastern place. We had a birthday party coming up, and we were looking for the right place to order the food. I stopped by Kabob House in Stroudsburgh to dine in and try their menu. I left their very full and very happy. The service was excellent personal and friendly. The food was very good tasty, with just right amount of spices. We ended up ordering catering for our party: Greek Salad, humus, baba ghanoush, falafel, various kabobs, salmon, and various side dishes. Hubby and I got takeout from here after we learned that our favorite Middle Eastern restaurant had closed. Wow!! So glad we found this place family run, and the 3 people who were running the restaurant last night were super friendly. The moussaka was heavenly (how do you get eggplant to be that creamy? and hubby's kafta wrap was delicious. While I waited for my order to be bagged up, I saw the platters of kabobs coming out of the kitchen and almost regretted not ordering that... next time! As busy as the place was, the interaction between the family members (2 gentlemen running the kitchen and the lady who handled the up front activities was playful and fun to watch. Absolutely 5 stars!
Maybe we went at a bad time. Lovely little place. Babaganoush was very tasty. Rice was very good. Chicken and Kofte kebabs were under spiced and terribly dried out. We didn't eat the Kofte kebab. String beans in tomato sauce looked like someone just opened a can of green beans and poured them into a watered down tomato sauce. We would really like to like this restaurant.
Clean and very welcoming place, felt cozy, music was traditional Arabic music. Bathroom was clean as well. Martha was great, sanitized the table and seats prior to us sitting. Food was great, and their tahini sauce in the mezzha appetiser plate is to die for! Definitely recommend!

I have had better Mediterranean food, the wraps we ordered were bland, chicken kabobs didn't have any flavor, I liked the Kafta kabob though. Service however was good, our server was really nice and kind.
Just too good! We had a total of 6 people and they treated us too well. The food was amazing! They even offered me a treat to try! Not a regret spending time here. Very nice.
Naji was a gracious host. I ordered the two chicken kebabs thinking I would get them in bamboo skewers. Boy was I surprised. It's hidden away, but we'll worth the visit.
