I have gone to 3 different Kabuki locations and this one on Colorado in Pasadena is by far the worse. I was very embarrassed that I was boasting about the food at Kabuki’s because the other locations were great. This one had terrible service. I have gone here about 3X over the past 10 years (mostly convenience) and each time was a bad experience. I will most definitely never come back and o do not recommend it to anyone. I figured over time it will have been better, nope. It was worse.The last experience was negative due to the waitress in a rush to clock out and receive her tip and payment. Our order barely came in and she was leaving and insisted on us checking out. So, we were not able to...
The food is decent. The staff very kind. The problem is the actual place. It’s very dirty. The whole floor feels sticky and the carpet dirty. The tables are wiped but the seats are old and torn. I guess it depends on where you sit. I’ve been coming here the last 15years. Slowly getting worst. They’ve completely forgotten to clean the restrooms now. The last three times I’ve been here I’ve seen them so dirty I don’t even want to sit my toddler down. Starbucks restrooms are cleaner. They really need to do something about this.
I haven't dined at Kabuki's in years, but I was pleased to find that it remains as wonderful as ever. The menu offers a wide selection of Japanese dishes that are prepared fresh and offer great value. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was delicious. Despite the rainy weather, the restaurant still managed to attract many customers, thanks to its location in a bustling area with many dining options. I will definitely be returning to Kabuki's for another meal soon!
we come here every week and while the price is a little high, its par for the cure for good sushi. we had only a negative experience with the staff there when we had a larger group with us, which was disappointing that it was the first experience that had the group of this restaurant, but this was definately the take-off instead of the rule. the staff is otherwise amazing and friendly and eating is delicious. we will continue to make this a regular place.

Kabuki Japanese restaurant is one of our favorite places from happy hour to regular times. The staff is polite and efficient. The food comes hot, delicious and prsented so beautiful - a visual and delicious treat. The range of Japanese beer and rolls show a selection. Tempura is perfectly cooked. I recommend this place with lots of parking.
Food what is delightful. Light and cooked to perfection. We had avocado roll, lovely salad and shrimp and veggie tempura. Also enjoyed the ginger and wasabi adding nice flavors to the temper. I would highly recommend. Service was also very good.
I (someone allergic to seafood) finally found a good Japanese place that has options for me near my work. The food was fresh, the soup was hot, and everything tasted great. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

My overall experience with this Kabuki is positive. It is one of those restaurant where you can relax and enjoy the meal with your friends and family. Both the food and the service good.
