Kado-Ya - Reserva de mesa

Der Sushi-Kurs war für uns ein wirklich besonderes Erlebnis. Nachdem wir inhaltlichen Input über u.a. die Herkunft von Sushi und Details, was besonders gutes Sushi ausmacht, bekommen haben, durften wir selbst mit Anleitung und Hilfestellung verschiedenes Sushi herstellen. Das Tolle daran war, dass wir alle unsere Eigenkreationen nach Hause nehmen durften. Was die Menge angeht, hat es für mind. 3 Personen gereicht. Anschließend durften wir bei Drinks gemeinsam in der kleinen Gruppe von 6 Personen das super leckere Sushi vom Koch mit dem selbstgemachten Wasabi genießen, mit Kombinationen, die teilweise nicht auf der Karte zu finden sind. We stayed at the pop-up restaurant for three and had fortunately reserved a table on the terrace, against later the restaurant filled quickly, you sit super nice at the Neckarufer. The offer of sushi is comparatively scarce, a few vegetarian options. This is probably due to the fact that this is not the actual restaurant, but only a pop-up with a shortened card. Both the drinks and the sushi came to the table relatively quickly, especially the spicy salmon Tatar was really delicious. The fish tasted very fresh and the Wasabi was great! The service was fine, the payment process ran a little bumpy.

It was very good. In the meantime very unfriendly service, we were barely and only very reluctantly served. The food was lukewarm. On request, the food was made fresh only 1x/day. That's okay for sushi, but not for hot dishes. It tasted accordingly, and unfortunately it was also very expensive. was unfortunately our last time here (we were a guest on 8.11.22 at 17-19)

Yesterday evening I was eating spontaneously at Kado-ya. The fish from sushi was very good and overall the amount of fish was great in relation to rice. The Yuzu spray was also very delicious. I'm opposed to all other reviews, our service was very nice and pleasant. The food, however, is really not very good, the fish was lying for a while and was greasy and the seaweed leaves were already a bit blurred.

Top quality, super sushi, matching price performance. In order to find something comparable you have to drive to Stuttgart at least.
