This café offers tasty food at an affordable price. I ordered the tuna toast with a side salad and an Almdudler to drink. The salad was REALLY good. It was a mix of lettuce, potatoes, cucumbers and I forget what else, all with a vinegar...dressing. The soda comes without ice, but I think this is the norm in Austria (or perhaps in October when it is very cold). I also had the breakfast that comes with the hotel stay; I believe there is a separate menu for non-guests. The servers are very friendly and speak English.

We visited and toured the abbey in the morning and wanted to find a place with outdoor seats to have lunch and watch the people before you visit our Danube Boat Cruise. This place completely fits into the bill, as we were blessed with a beautiful autumn day...We were warmly welcomed and our wine and beer order arrived quickly. Our lunch was still satisfying and filling on the ground. We found it very affordable and absolutely pleasant people watching while enjoying lunch and the sun.

We stopped here after visiting the Abby. Outside was completely full but they sat us inside. What got our attention was the sausages cooking outside. We ordered the sausage and kraut and was it good. The wait staff was busy but attentive. The prices were...so reasonable. It was a great place for lunch.

Between the visit of the abbey and the ship to Krems. I had chips, potatoes and a salad. The food was okay, but nothing special. The service was friendly but a little on the slow side.

We enjoyed our dinner here. It was enjoyable to sit outside. The waiter spoke English and it was easy to order from their multi-language menu.
